History of Soft & Control Technology s.r.o. company in short

Soft & Control Technology - abridged SCT was founded on 23th of November 1990 as public business company with main activity “technological processes monitoring”. Legal form of company was changed to Soft & Control Technology s.r.o. – SCT s.r.o. on 19th of May 1994. At this time is company expanded to medium size company consisting of seven departments which provide its own technical research and development, production small industry systems, distributors, sensing devices, software development. Field of activity includes designing, installation and service of telemetric and monitoring systems.

Main activity field of company is in area of gas industry and power engineering, where realizes hundreds of software applications and thousands of telemetric and monitoring systems.

Running of main activities

2011
Telemetric devices PLC T1 for slovak gas company - SPP as innovation of older telemetric equipment. *BaWiT-C* as a next member of BaWiT family, dedicated for Ex environment with extended features.
2010
Training of foreign partners Telemetric devices BaWiT into potentional explosive atmosphere. Battery powered with possibility of external power. Operational temperature range -40°C to +85°C. Starting production of own temperature and humidity sensors.
2008 to 2009
Beginning of cooperation with companies Acandia from Sweden and Goodtech from Norway. Starting operation of testing chamber in company premises to test own products.
2006 to 2007
Remote monitoring gas medium-consumers for SPP in total number 4200 off-taking places by using own telemetric battery system with GPRS data transfer to own SCADA system with connection to SAP. Delivery of 100 stations of cathodic protection systems to SPP, with online monitoring and controlling feature.
2005 to 2007
Monitoring system for 540 gas regulation stations with usage of GSM data transfer. Total delivery including sensing devices. Remote monitoring gas middle-consumers by GSM network for SPP with data transfer as for invoice system based on SAP. In total there was realizated more than 4200 off-taking places. Own battery telemetric system was used. Company introduced new system of quality ISO 9001 and certification was realized by one of the biggest certification company – SGS. New company headquarter location. Moving to separate building in industrial zone of Košice – North district.
2004 to 2006
Remote monitoring gas mass-consumers by GSM network for SPP with data transfer as for invoice system based on SAP. In total there was realizated more than 1200 off-taking places. Installed own monitoring system.
2004 to 2005
Software system “Gas management system” for 4 regional centers of distribution division and headquarters SPP, insuring statistical processing technological and business information from gas regulating stations as well as off-taking places for gas customers including their validation and transfer to invoicing systems SAP. There were in total more than 400 clients. Manager system EPOS. Software tool for manager control and activity control in distribution division of SPP. More than 400 applications.
2004
Telemetric system for GSM data capturing from business gas measuring devices in total number 250 systems.
2003
Commercial presentation of Fargo Telecom company for selling GSM/GPRS modems MAESTRO based on module Wavecom WismoQuick at Slovakia.
2002 to 2003
Monitoring system for data capturing as well as controlling of industrial technological objects for anticorrosive protection in SPP. Monitoring and remote GSM data gathering from commercial measuring devices - converters from industrial gas delivery points. 163 gathering points.

Development of measuring and registering system for anticorrosive protection in SPP.

Commercial representation of MAXON Europe Ltd. (Great Britain) company in area of data GSM and GPRS transfer systems for Slovakia.
2001 to 2002
Development and production of own microprocessor system for data monitoring and capturing from business measuring devices with in-build data GSM modem.
2000 to 2001
Development and production of communication servers for SPP fro data capturing from technology by GSM network as well as by private radio networks with using various communication protocols. Development and production of own control system for monitoring and controlling of gas regulating stations in total number of 100 applications with data transfer by GSM network.
2000
Development and realization 11 database SQL SMS servers for automatized data monitoring from technology and data sending in form of SMS in GSM network.
1999
Development and realization 11 SQL database multimedia workstations for processing of documentation in form of pictures (foto), video – image, audio and text from technological processes.
1996 to 2000
Development and realization of SQL database software project for data evaluating from 11 SCADA systems for various sections and departments of power engineering plant within area all around Slovak republic. There were realized 5 types of workstations with total number of installations higher that 80.
1995
Development and realization of data repeater communication system for data capture from technology. (Used at repeater points Chopok and Poľana).
1992 to 1995
First complete SPP solution in Slovakia. Complex monitoring system of 48 gas regulating stations with radio data transfer in 450NHz band to dispatching of gas plant. Whole complete delivery : monitoring of stations by own technological computer, transfer paths (repeater points Sitno, Chopok, Poľana) with own communication protocol, dispatching and its complete technical and program equipment.

Development and production of own communication server based on signal processor for radio data capturing in private network.

Gas supplying monitoring system for University Mateja Bella Banská Bystrica.
1992
Data capturing from monitoring stations and transfer trough rented as well as trough public ways to dispatching centre for Slovak hydro-meteorological institution Košice.
1991
Primacy - Monitoring system for data capturing from gas regulation stations by telephone line, which was presented at international symphosium PLYN’91. It is first realization of microcomputer monitoring with remote data transfer within Slovakia and Czech republic gas industry.
